Steve Brewster has more than 20 years experience designing information transport (IT) and security systems. His IT experience covers a wide range of analog, digital and IP telephony and data systems including both wireline and wireless campus distribution systems. He has also designed complete data centers.

Brewster’s security capabilities and experience include building access control, intrusion detection and CCTV surveillance systems as well as design of security control centers. He has additional expertise in optical fiber distribution and specialized bonding and grounding (earthing) for IT and security systems.

Brewster managed the design, implementation and commissioning of the Central Data Center for the City of Pittsburgh, PA and several other large communications centers, commercial buildings, educational intuitions, corporate campus and metropolitan networks around the country. While working in Dubai, UAE, he had some notable project assignments including IT project management and network system consulting for the world’s first Armani-branded hotel, part of Burj Dubai (tallest building in the world), and for the Monarch Hotel, also located in Dubai.

Brewster is recognized as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) by Building Systems Consulting Service International (BICSI). He has been a speaker at several BICSI Middle East conferences and he appeared in cover stories of Network Middle East magazine in 2004 and 2006.
